Zillah used to be an unassuming model student, following the rules of a world that made sense to her. All of that changed in an instant when she was abducted and brutalized by a pack of sadistic young men who showed her that she was living in their world. Physically, mentally, and emotionally wrecked, Zillah found solace in Taekkyon, a Korean martial art with the essence that, through relentless training, Zillah herself would grow to embody – beautiful, graceful, lethal. With a heart turned cold and a body turned to steel, Zillah set out on her next project – revenge. Unfortunately, Zillah was in for another rude awakening. After a fight goes bad, she regains consciousness in a shadowy limbo world known as Gehenna, purgatory for demonic beings from the farthest reaches of multiple universes. Zillah learns that the 1000 Year Tournament is coming; a combat crucible in which all inhabitants of this hellscape compete. The prize? Resurrection to your world of origin. If Zillah is to have her vengeance in the mortal world, first she’ll have to assemble a new other-worldly set of powers and battle her way through the demon horde of Gehenna.

GEHENNA [guh-heh-nuh] or also [juh-heh-nuh]  has been referred to by many names: Hades, Tartartus, Sheol, but most commonly known as Hell. Thoughts of hell conjures images of gnarled beasts and demons congregating in a dark, fiery, evil place assailed with constant agony and pain.

This world of GEHENNA, encompasses various places and phenomenons to accommodate the various beings that inhabits this world.

From swam lands to lakes of lava, the journey spans across the vast topography that makes up GEHENNA.

 

IMPERIUM is synonymous to the power that one must either have or acquire, in order to survive. Because, even here in death, there exists an Abyss that is the absolute blackhole of existence. There is no return once a soul enters the Abyss. To physically manifest  an upgraded power source is called Hell Forge Power. 

HELL FORGE POWER can appear from within a being or absorbed from their opponents in a battle. Stronger opponents can possess more than one power.

FADING is a phenomenon that occurs when beings do not "feed". Food source is the energy absorbed from the death of another. To avoid fading away to the Abyss, all inhabitants must kill to stay relevant within the Hell relm.

1000 YEAR TOURNAMENT  In the blink of an eye the 1000 year battle begins. The tournament is an all out battle between the inhabitants of GEHENNA to determine the one soul that can earn its chance back to their original dimension through ... resurrection. The prize is not determined by physical strength alone but the skill to be the last surviving competitor at the end of the tournament.

The final match is held in an arena, that was also the origin of GEHENNA's creation. It was rumored that is was also the place the creator collided after falling from Azure. Along the journey, many competitors experience first hand, the quality of demons that will appear to compete on the final day.

Not all inhabitants compete. Instead, the ones that acknowledge that they do not have the skills to survive, serve their own agenda. Most are contracted to cull the competition. During this time, rogue groups began forming teams, poisoning, ambushing and killing all of thseall of those who they felt were weaklings. When the killings subsided, they would turn on each other.

Perhaps the tournament was created to gruesomely entertain the creator or is to show the determination in souls. Every competitor fights for the chance to reset and start over.
